Actor and politician Kamal Haasan met Rajinikanth, a close friend and coworker, at his home in Chennai’s Poes Garden on Wednesday. The ‘Thug Life’ actor shared several pictures with him and stated that he had met his pal just a few days before his oath-taking ceremony for the Rajya Sabha. The two repeatedly demonstrate that their friendship endures despite their fame and success.
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan shared pictures on Wednesday. The ‘Jailer’ star gave him a bouquet and gave him his heartfelt congratulations as he told him about his appointment as a Member of Parliament. In the photos, the two were holding hands.
Kamal Haasan’s X post in Tamil is loosely translated as saying, “I shared my joy with my friend Rajinikanth before embarking on my new journey. I am happy.”

In June, Kamal Haasan was elected to the Rajya Sabha without opposition, backed by the alliance formed by the DMK.
The Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), his political party, released a press statement saying, “We are pleased to inform you that Kamal Haasan will take the oath of office and assume his duties in Parliament on July 25.”
‘Thug Life’, directed by Mani Ratnam, was Kamal Haasan’s most recent film appearance. Both critics and viewers gave the movie mixed reviews, and it received a lacklustre reception at the box office. The actor is working on a few projects at various stages of development.
He is working with stunt choreographer-turned-director Anbariv (also known as Anbu and Arivu) on his next action movie.
