The Indian government made history by introducing the Women’s Reservation Bill in the new Parliament yesterday and what made it more special was the fact that the bill was introduced on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The bill has been named as Naari Shakti Vandan bill and as per this bill, the one-third seats (33 percent) in the Parliament and state legislatives will be reserved for women.
Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Esha Gupta were called in the parliament for speaking on this bill and they both praised the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this wonderful step in the direction of women empowerment.
Kangana Ranaut says that this move will encourage women to enter politics which is currently dominated by men. She also talked about her upcoming movie, Tejas while talking about the bill.
Esha Gupta was also full of praise for the Indian Prime Minister and she said that she has interest in politics since childhood as her family is connected with politics so people may see her in politics by 2026 after this bill gets passed.
