Kangana Ranaut’s Problems Increase, Chandigarh Court Issues Notice Against Emergency

Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency continues to face challenges ahead of its release, with new allegations surfacing. On Wednesday, the actress found herself at the center of controversy again, with her film being accused of tarnishing the Sikh community. Emergency, which is set against the backdrop of the Emergency period imposed by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, has drawn criticism for its portrayal of historical events.

According to a report, a district court in Chandigarh has issued a notice to Kangana Ranaut in response to a complaint filed by Ravinder Singh Bassi, a former president of the District Bar Association. Bassi has claimed that Emergency contains false allegations against the Sikh community and accuses Kangana of attempting to tarnish their image. He has called for a case to be registered against the actress, who not only stars in the movie but has also directed it.

The court is set to hear the matter on December 5. This legal action follows accusations from the Shiromani Akali Dal, which recently criticized the film for allegedly misrepresenting the Sikh community and distorting historical facts.
