On Sunday, Kangana was declared the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. In preparation for the impending Lok Sabha elections, the BJP unveiled its sixth list of contenders for the 16 states.

The names and addresses of the party’s candidates for the Lok Sabha seats in Kerala, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Mizoram, Sikkim, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Rajasthan, Haryana, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Kerala, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh have been made public.

Ranaut posted the information on Instagram Stories and praised the BJP leadership. “Today, the national leadership of the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) announced me as their Lok Sabha candidate from my birth place Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency). I abide by the high command’s decision on contesting Lok Sabha polls,” the writer wrote. “My beloved Bharat and Bhartiya Janta’s own party, the BJP, has always had my unconditional support.”

“I feel honoured and ecstatic to officially join the party,” she continued. I hope to serve the people with integrity and as a deserving karyakarta. Regards.” Regarding her career, Kangana’s upcoming film, Emergency, will also be her first solo directorial effort.
