Kapil Sharma is ready to tickle the funny bone once again, this time not with just one but two comedy films in the pipeline. While fans are already excited about his much-talked-about return in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, the comedian-turned-actor is also set to headline another comic caper, this time alongside Neetu Kapoor and her daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
The project, yet to be officially titled, will be directed by Khiladi 786 filmmaker Ashish R Mohan and is slated to begin shooting in Chandigarh this month.
“Kapil Sharma has gone lean for his next feature film, which will be directed by Ashish R Mohan. It’s an out-and-out comic entertainer, and goes on floors in Chandigarh by mid-April. The Mahurat ceremony will take place tomorrow, followed by a marathon schedule. It’s a situational comedy and the makers have roped in a credible ensemble for the feature film,” a source revealed.
What adds to the buzz is the Bollywood debut of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Best known as a fashion entrepreneur and the daughter of legendary actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima is stepping into films with a light-hearted comedy. Insiders close to the production say she is enthusiastic about embracing this new phase of her journey and is eager to explore the world of cinema.
