Karan Johar is set to don the hat of a host once again with a new reality show, The Traitors, an Indian adaptation of the American game show of the same name. The show is already generating buzz due to its intriguing format and the list of celebrity contestants expected to join. Reports indicate that Johar has reached Jaisalmer to begin shooting, and the first promo has already been completed.
As per reports, comedian Harsh Gujral and popular influencer Jannat Zubair are confirmed participants in The Traitors. The report also mentions that actor and model Sahil Salathia, along with veteran Bollywood actor Ashish Vidyarthi, will be joining the show. Additionally, rapper Raftaar, fashion critic Sufi, and renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra are also part of the anticipated lineup, adding to the excitement surrounding the show.
A source close to the development shared that Karan Johar’s new show is being filmed at Hotel Suryagarh in Jaisalmer and will span approximately 14 days. The concept of the show revolves around a battle between “good” and “evil” where contestants must demonstrate their survival skills. The participants will be divided into two groups: the “good citizens” and the “Mafias”. The source also hinted at “a lot of twists and turns” in the show’s format.
The list of rumored contestants also includes names like Jasmine Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Anshula Kapoor. However, an official confirmation of their participation is still awaited.
