In Chikkaballapur, Karnataka, the warden of a dormitory was suspended following the delivery of a baby at a local hospital by a student in Class 9.
In this context, the police have opened a Pocso case. The girl, who was registered in the social welfare department’s hostel, had irregular attendance records and was known to see her cousin frequently, according to the results of the investigation. In August of last year, she also got a medical examination; yet, her pregnancy remained undetected.
Based on the information provided, the girl enrolled at the hostel a year prior, during her time in Class 8. The girl was also in contact with a boy in Class 10. The pupils went to the same school.
However, the youngster relocated to Bangalore after receiving a transfer certificate (TC) after completing school. Krishnappa S, Joint Director, Social Welfare Department, Tumkur, commented on the occurrence, saying, “The child had been absent from the dormitory for a considerable amount of time.
