Kartik Aaryan’s latest release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has marked a significant achievement by crossing the ₹200-crore threshold in worldwide box office collections. This milestone makes it Kartik Aaryan’s second film to reach this figure after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was released two years ago.
The horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 quickly amassed ₹187 crore globally within its first four days. On the fifth day (Tuesday), the movie collected an additional ₹20.50 crore, with ₹13.50 crore coming from domestic markets alone. By day five, the film’s total earnings had reached ₹208 crore, comprising ₹165 crore from domestic sales and ₹43 crore (around $5 million) from international audiences.
Benefiting from Diwali festivities, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 achieved 70-75% occupancy in theaters over its first three days. With projections pointing toward a total of ₹250 crore by the second weekend, the film is expected to surpass the ₹266-crore lifetime earnings of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan highest-grossing film to date.
Releasing alongside Singham Again, a big-budget film by Rohit Shetty, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 faced intense competition. Although Singham Again initially outperformed due to wider screen availability, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has steadily narrowed the gap, demonstrating its strong hold on audiences despite the competition.
