Ajay Devgn and Kajol starrer Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha turned 25 yrs old today as it got released on 15 July 1998 and it was showered with love and affection by audiences. The movie was directed by Anees Bazmee and it also starred Om Puri, Kashmera Shah, Bijay Anand, etc. in important roles.
Recently in an interview, Kashmera Shah revealed some interesting details about the film. She talked about a kissing scene which she had with her co-actor Bijay Anand but the latter was not doing it properly because of which multiple retakes had to be taken. Kashmera said that kissing scenes used to be a big thing 25 yrs back and as it was in the elevator, precise angles and movements were needed but Bijay was not doing the scene in a proper manner. She added that Ajay Devgn got to know that she was feeling uncomfortable and he took a stand for her regarding the multiple retakes, Ajay asked Bijay to improve his performance.
Kashmera also claimed that Bijay Anand showed many tantrums on the sets despite the fact that the real stars were behaving in a cool manner.
On the other hand, Bijay Anand said in an interview that it was because of Pyaar to hona hi tha, he didn’t work in the industry for 17 years. He said that his voice was dubbed in a very weak voice in order to show Ajay Devgn’s character strong and it hurt him so much that he decided to leave the industry.
