Project K, starring Prabhas, DeepikaPadukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, finally has a release date. The film is all set to release in theatres on 12th January of 2024. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the cast revealed a brand new poster for the film as well as the release date. DeepikaPadukone captioned the poster, which features silhouette shots.
Last month, on DeepikaPadukone’s birthday, the filmmakers offered a sneak peek of her outfit from the film on social media.
Nag Ashwin, best known for directing the National Award-winning 2018 biographical drama Mahanati, is directing Project K.
This is DeepikaPadukone and Prabhas’ first collaboration, whereas the actress previously co-starred in the 2015 film Piku with Amitabh Bachchan. They will also appear in the Hindi version of the American film The Intern, starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro.
Nag Ashwin is directing the film, which is supported by AswiniDutt, the producer and creator of Vyjayanthi Pictures. The film Project K will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
In terms of employment, she was most recently seen in the mega hit Pathaan. The actress will as well star with actor HrithikRoshan in Fighter directed by Pathaan fame SiddharthAnand.
The actress recently appeared in the song Current Laga Re in Cirkus, with hubby Ranveer Singh.
