The ongoing controversy surrounding Telangana Minister Konda Surekha’s comments about Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s divorce has taken a new turn with another bold allegation. Surekha has now claimed that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader KT Rama Rao (KTR) may be involved in the mysterious “disappearance” of his father, former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
Speaking at an event in Gajwel, KCR’s constituency, Surekha appealed to Congress party workers to file a missing case for KCR, according to a report. This allegation has further intensified the political tension in the state.
In response to Surekha’s latest accusation, BRS leader Sravan Dasoju called for her to be punished, condemning her remarks as defamatory. He stated, “After Revanth Reddy became the TPCC president, the politics in Telangana have reached a very low level, with defamatory and insulting abuses being directed at KCR, KTR, and their family.”
Dasoju also criticized the ministers and leaders in the Telangana government for following this trend of political discourse. Referring to the recent controversy about Nagarjuna, Samantha, and KTR, he said, “Linking Samantha and KTR with such baseless claims is uncalled for and defamatory. She should be punished.”
This controversy initially erupted when Konda Surekha claimed that KTR’s alleged involvement contributed to Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce. She had earlier stated that KTR had sought a political favor from Samantha, related to the demolition of the N-convention centre, which led to tension and ultimately their separation.
