Kriti Sanon talks about the annoying phase when she didn’t get good opportunities
Kriti Sanon, the Bollywood actress who has played some beautiful characters and entertained us with her performances in movies like Luka Chuppi, Bareilly ki Barfi, Dilwale, Mimi, etc. has completed 9 years in the Indian film industry.
Kriti made her debut in 2014 with “Heropanti” in which she was casted opposite a star kid Tiger Shroff who also made his debut with this flick. Kriti has some big projects in her kitty now such as Adipurush, Ganapath, The Crew, etc., but there was a time when she had to face difficulties in getting work because she was an outsider in the industry.
Talking about her struggling days in the industry, here’s what the actress said in an interview, “There were a lot of moments of that… knowing I could do more, but not having the kind of opportunities I wanted on my table. When you come from the outside, you don’t know people, and they don’t know you. It takes a while to make an impact and for people to associate with you. You end up doing the best you can with what you are offered. It may not necessarily be the best thing in the world, but every film has taught me something.”
Kriti Sanon’s next release will be Adipurush, the movie is based on Hindu epic Ramayana and it also stars Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in important roles. The movie is directed by Om Raut and is slated to release on 16 June 2023.
