The much-awaited 18th season of Bigg Boss is set to kick off on October 6, with Salman Khan returning as the host. According to a new report, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shirodkar will be one of the contestants. Shilpa, who is the younger sister of former actor Namrata Shirodkar, made her Bollywood debut in Ramesh Sippy’s Bhrashtachar (1989), sharing the screen with Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha. Shilpa’s elder sister Namrata Shirodkar is married to Telugu superstar, Mahesh Babu.
Sources have also revealed that Khatron Ke Khiladi participant Nyrraa Banerji is set to join Bigg Boss 18. Popular actors Shoaib Ibrahim, Dheeraj Dhoopar, and Nia Sharma are also rumored to be part of this season’s lineup.
Initially, actor Isha Koppikar was expected to be one of the contestants. However, recent reports suggest that she has now chosen to opt out of Bigg Boss 18.
