Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion got released last week and it is getting showered with love and affection by the audiences.
Recently, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar watched the movie at the special screening and they both were full of praises for it. Shabana Azmi said that she cried a lot while watching Chandu Champion and she applauded the work of Kartik Aaryan.
Here’s what Shabana Azmi said, “Main toh ro, ro, ro ke paagal ho gayi. Aur Kartik ka kaam bohot accha tha.” Javed Akhtar said, “Aur Kabir ka bhi” and Shabana further added, “Kabir ka bhi. Bohot dino baad Maine Kabir ki film dekhi…”

Chandu Champion is based on the life story of India’s first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar.
Kartik Aaryan made a surprise visit at a cinema hall and interacted with the audiences, he said, “Itne saalo se bohot hi minimum logo ko pata thi unki kahani. Aur yeh bohot hi zaroori kahani thi jo poore Bharat ko ya phir international audience tak pohochni chahiye. Murli sir bohot khush hain, main aap logo ko batana chahoonga. Unki kahaani aap tak pohoch rahi hai. I think after 15 years he’s getting his due (Very few people knew of his story for years. It was very important for people in India and even abroad to know his story. I’d like to tell you that Murli sir is very happy. His story is reaching you).”
