A horrific incident has taken place in Pune, Maharashtra in which a 38 years old woman has been arrested for killing her husband and that too because he didn’t fulfill her wish of celebrating her birthday in Dubai.
The name of the accused is Renuka and her husband’s name is Nikhil Khanna (36 yrs) and they both lived in Wanvadi area of Pune in a posh residential society. Nikhil was a businessman by profession who was involved in construction business and they got married 6 yrs back.
As per the reports, the couple had a fight on Friday afternoon because Renuka was upset with Nikhil for not taking her to Dubai for birthday celebrations and also for not giving her expensive gifts on her birthday and marriage anniversary. A police official further revealed, “Renuka was also upset with Nikhil for not giving a favorable response to her wish to go to Delhi to celebrate the birthdays of some relatives.”
It is being said that Renuka got so angry that she punched Nikhil on the nose and this is what an official stated, “The impact of the punch was so hard that Nikhil’s nose and some teeth were broken. With heavy bleeding, Nikhil lost consciousness.”
Renuka has been taken into custody by police and she has been booked under section 302 (punishment for murder) of IPC.
