In a horrific incident on Thursday night in Khairabad area in Uttar Pradesh, a 22 years old person named Ramesh Maurya was shot dead at a roadside eatery by an unidentified and masked shooter who came on a bike. Ramesh was taken to a hospital but the doctors were not able to save him.
Surprisingly, the deceased uploaded a video on the social media networks a few hours back in which he claimed that he had been receiving death threats and he accused one person named Ayan and his associates for threatening him a couple of days back.
Ramesh Maurya was a battery mechanic by profession and he was employed in a local shop. In the video, Ramesh requested a famous local Hindu priest Mahant Bajrang Muni Das to ensure strict action to be taken against the culprits if he (Ramesh) got killed.
The police have started the investigation, collected evidence and CCTV footage from the location and an FIR has been filed against a total 13 people including Ayan. The CO stated, “The video appears to have been shot a few days ago. We are looking into the veracity of the video and the allegations made in it.”
