The Indian cricket team for the upcoming Asia Cup was announced recently in a press conference which was attended by the Indian team skipper Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar.
Ajit Agarkar was pretty candid in the press conference and he answered all the questions in an honest manner. He was also asked about KL Rahul’s fitness and he made it clear that the batter has a fresh niggle which is different from his calf-injury and from what has been told to him, he can say that KL Rahul will be fine by the second or third match of India in the Asia Cup 2023.
The former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar liked the manner in which Ajit Agarkar handled the queries as he stated, “The answer about KL Rahul was important that a niggle has emerged along with the injury that he had recovered from and that is why they have that extra keeper. That kind of detailed sharing of information is what you need. I hope they remain as candid. Nice articulation of all the decisions that were taken.”
Well, the start is certainly good for Ajit Agarkar, what do you say?
