Manu Bhaker, the double Olympic gold medallist from India has landed in India from Paris, France. As she reached the airport, her supporters were there to cheer her on and dance enthusiastically. She had landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. As she showed up a throng of people awaited her arrival, and instruments were played. Manu’s coach Jaspal Rana, who traveled with the markswoman in the French capital during her campaign has also returned home by plane.

Manu Bhaker was showered with flower petals by the crowd when she arrived at Delhi’s IGI Airport. She and Coach Jaspal Rana waved to the crowd, which presented them with garlands and roses to congratulate the markswoman on her outstanding feat.
Manu Bhaker’s parents had earlier arrived at Delhi International Airport to greet the Indian shooter. Following her national pride on the biggest platform of sports, they expressed their happiness at finally meeting their daughter.
Manu is scheduled to return to Paris, France for the 2024 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony, where she will represent the Indian contingent by carrying the flag.
At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Manu Bhaker made history as the first Indian markswoman to win an Olympic medal. She did it by winning bronze in the individual 10m air pistol competition. Then, in the mixed team 10m air pistol competition, she and Sarabjot Singh won bronze.
