The process of getting the blue tick on X (formerly Twitter) has become quite easy nowadays but there are some rules and regulations which should be followed in order to keep this blue tick subscription intact.
Yesterday, many ministers, celebrities, etc. lost their blue tick which led to a little confusion on the micro-blogging site. Well, if you are not aware why this happened, then let us tell you that all this happened because of the appeal that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made to the Indians.
On the occasion of Independence Day, PM Modi made an appeal to all Indians to change their DP on social media sites to Tiranga as a part of #HarGharTiranga movement.
He tweeted, “In the spirit of the #HarGharTiranga movement, let us change the DP of our social media accounts and extend support to this unique effort which will deepen the bond between our beloved country and us.”
As per the policy of X, the blue tick holders need to use their authentic names and DPs and any changes will result in removal of the blue tick. Then the management will review these accounts and the blue ticks will be restored only after the account holders followed the specified guidelines.
