On Saturday, a huge fire that spread to every level of a building in Khoni Palava, Thane, Maharashtra, broke out. To put out the fire, four fire tenders are on the scene. There have been no recorded casualties as of yet. According to officials, a short circuit most likely started the fire. Officials stated that there were four fire engines on the scene and that attempts were being made to put out the fire. They also stated that there have been no reports of casualties or injuries from the event yet.
They claim that residents are being evacuated safely and that emergency services, including fire, are on the scene. Images circulated on social media platforms displayed plumes of black smoke and flames coming from the higher stories of the structure.
