Noujisha, a housewife from Kozhikode, was suffering in an abusive marriage and was on the edge of suicide in 2016. However, this 32-year-old lady has been an example to many women for fearlessly overcoming challenges and pursuing her aspirations.
Noujisha A, a housewife from Kozhikode, was suffering in an abusive marriage and was on the edge of suicide in 2016. However, this 32-year-old lady has been an example to many women for fearlessly overcoming challenges and pursuing her aspirations.
Before marrying in 2013, Noujisha completed her master’s degree in computer application (MCA) and worked as a guest lecturer. Her life took a turn for the worst after that, when her spouse sabotaged all of her plans and undervalued her accomplishments. This behaviour gradually escalated into domestic violence that lasted more than a year. This six-year-old mother attempted suicide before deciding to leave her abusive marriage.
She began preparing for competitive tests, worked hard, and achieved success as a civil police officer (WCPO). She began working in the office on April 15, 2021. Noujisha claims that her family — her parents and kid — were always there for her. Her advice to other women is to “not suffer in silence and get out following your aspirations.”
