The people you choose to follow stay private and undisclosed to other followers on channels, which work independently from your usual chats. According to the business, both administrators and followers’ personal information is protected.
Alongside the current Status function, users will see a dedicated tab called “Updates” where they may choose and follow channels of interest.

Enhanced Directory: With automatic filters, users may quickly find channels based on their country. In addition, based on the number of followers, they can discover fresh, vibrant, and well-liked channels.
Emojis can be used by users to provide input, and the overall number of reactions will be displayed without disclosing any specific ones.
Editing: Administrators will soon be able to make changes that will remain in effect for a maximum of 30 days before being automatically erased from servers.
Forwarding: For easy access to more information, updates sent to chats or groups will contain a link back to the channel.
Making a WhatsApp Channel
Click the Channels icon on WhatsApp Web to access the Channels page.
“Create channel” should be chosen.
To complete the creation, adhere to the on-screen directions and enter a channel name. If necessary, the name can be modified afterwards.
You can choose to add a description and an icon to your channel to improve exposure.
To finish the process, click “Create channel.”
