Singer Mika Singh has shared his thoughts on Udit Narayan’s recent kiss controversy, playfully referring to the Pehla Nasha singer as his student. Years ago, Mika Singh himself was embroiled in a massive controversy when he kissed Rakhi Sawant without her consent at his birthday celebration. Reflecting on Udit Narayan’s situation, Mika humorously suggested that the veteran singer might have drawn inspiration from his past actions.
In an interview, Mika Singh addressed being labeled as the ‘controversy king.’ He remarked that controversies tend to surround only big personalities, which is why he embraces the tag and even enjoys being called the ‘controversy king.’ Comparing himself to Bollywood’s biggest stars, he said, “Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan – everyone follows them closely. Among singers, there’s only one Mika Singh.”
While commenting on Udit Narayan’s controversy, Mika joked, “Jhumma Chumma mere ek student aaye hai, unka naam hai Udit Narayan sahab. Kahin na kahin unke mann mein meri purani controversy hi hogi. Main toh tab haalanki baccha hi tha tabhi (My student has arrived – Udit Narayan sir. Somewhere in his mind, my old controversy must have been there. However, back then, I was just a kid).” Ending on a lighter note, he added, “Udit ji, I love you!” He further expressed that every artist, especially singers, aspires to be like Mika Singh.
