Six chief ministers will be among 18 party leaders present.

AAP sources claim that the party would leave the conference if the Congress does not pledge its support against the Centre’s law on the control of administrative services in Delhi, exposing rifts in the opposition ranks a day before the important discussions.

The Samajwadi Party is the only Uttar Pradesh party that is expected to be present at the meeting. No invitation was sent to BSP supremo Mayawati. Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Jayant Chaudhary may skip the meeting due to a family event.

The leaders expected to be present at the initial high-level opposition meeting include Gandhi, Kharge, Mamata Banerjee, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann (AAP), and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin (DMK), among others.
