Mohit Joshi leaves Infosys to become Tech Mahindra’s new CEO, MD

Mohit Joshi’s stint at Infosys will conclude in June, and he will be on vacation until then. Mohit Joshi, President of Infosys, has been appointed as the company’s new CEO and MD.

Mohit Joshi, president of Infosys, has left to join competitor Tech Mahindra, the two companies announced to the Stock Exchange. Mohit Joshi, a former Infosys employee, has been named Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tech Mahindra.

Infosys announced in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange that Mohit Joshi would be on leave beginning March 11 and will leave the business on June 9, 2023.

Mohit Joshi oversaw Infosys’ Financial Services and Healthcare/Life Sciences operations as President. He was also the Chairman of Edgeverve Systems Ltd, where he oversaw the company’s software division, which included the Global Banking Platform, Finacle.

Mohit Joshi was invited to the World Economic Forum’s Global Young Leaders programme in 2014. He is the Vice Chair of the Confederation of British Industry’s Economic Development Board and a member of the Young Presidents Organization.

Mr Joshi, who holds an MBA from Delhi University, formerly worked in corporate and investment banking for ANZ Grindlays and ABN AMRO. He graduated from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi with a Bachelor’s degree in history.
