Motorola posted an X post on Wednesday, May 8, announcing the launch of the Edge 50 Fusion smartphone. Flipkart will sell another Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. The phone debuted in Europe in April. It debuted with Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Ultra. India has Motorola Edge 50 Pro. A 144Hz refresh rate display, IP68 rating, twin 50-megapixel back cameras, and 68W quick charging distinguish the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. SoCs in smartphones are Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will launch in India on May 16 at 12:00 PM IST. Motorola used its official X handle to tweet about the launch. Flipkart’s landing page lists phone specs.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion: Features
Fipkart reported that the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will feature up to 12GB RAM and come in Marshmallow Blue, Hot Pink, and Forest Blue. It sports a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1,600 nits peak brightness. It may run Hello UI on Android 14. Plans call for an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Indian Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and 12GB RAM. The back will have a 13-megapixel ultrawide macro and 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor. Also planned: 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor. This phone will support Wi-Fi 6 and 15 5G bands in India. A 5,000mAh battery with 68W rapid charging and IP68 water-repellent construction are featured.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion pricing in India is unknown. When debuted in Europe, the phone cost EUR 399 (Rs. 35,900).
