Ruturaj Gaikwad-led Chennai Super Kings is back to winning ways as it defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 wickets in the match which was played yesterday at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
However, fans also got to witness a beautiful moment when the two World Cup heroes – MS Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir greeted and hugged each other and also shared some words with each other.

Presently, MS Dhoni is playing as a wicketkeeper-batter in CSK as he handed over captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad just before the start of the IPL 2024. On the other hand, Gautam Gambhir has joined KKR as a mentor in this season, earlier he has also led the franchise and under his leadership, KKR has won two IPL titles.
As far as the match is concerned, KKR could manage only 137/9 in their stipulated 20 overs and CSK easily chased the target with 7 wickets in hand and 14 balls remaining in their innings.
