The Mumbai Crime Branch has requested in a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs to issue a lookout notice on criminal Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol, marking a crucial move in the case of the Salman Khan home firing. A few hours after the event, Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the gunfire at Salman Khan’s residence via his Facebook profile. The second pistol used in the fire incident was found earlier this week by the Mumbai Crime Branch. Three magazines and the rifle were found in the Tapi River in Surat.
The two suspects were taken into custody by Kutch Police on April 16 and sent over to the Mumbai Crime Branch. In relation to the firing incident, a municipal court later sent the two suspects to the Mumbai Crime Branch’s custody till April 25. Following a medical test, the accused Vicky Gupta, 24, and Sagar Pal, 21, both of Bihar were brought before the court.
The Mumbai Crime Branch is now conducting an inquiry. The Mumbai Crime Branch claims that the attackers, who are said to have shot outside Salman Khan’s home, had two firearms and were given the instruction to fire ten rounds of ammunition. The actor’s flat, the Galaxy Apartments, was the target of four bullets fired by two people who arrived on a motorbike early on April 14. The attackers swiftly left the location after the event. Both of the suspects were carrying backpacks and wearing headgear, according to surveillance footage.
Salman’s security level was raised to Y-Plus in 2022 in response to threats made by gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, for those who are unaware. The actor also obtained a new armoured car for increased safety and was given permission to carry a handgun on his person.
