Mumbai Flight Hit by Technical Distresses, Delayed Departure Confirmed by Airline

SpiceJet, the airline operating the trip, acknowledged the issue and issued a statement about it.

Technical Issue Causes Delay for This Mumbai Flight

A SpiceJet aircraft from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to Gwalior was delayed on Sunday due to a technical problem. Flight SG-429 was supposed to take off at 8:35 am; however, it had to make a diversion back to the airport area.

SpiceJet Spokesman Verifies Problem

A SpiceJet representative acknowledged the problem and said the flight’s departure schedule had been changed. SpiceJet flight SG 429 had a technical problem and had to return to the bay. The airline representative stated that the flight’s departure time was changed and that it would soon depart for Gwalior. We anticipate further information.

In July of this year, during maintenance at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in New Delhi, a fire occurred inside a grounded SpiceJet aircraft. The event that occurred on July 25 did not result in any substantial damage to the aircraft or injuries to maintenance personnel.

Precisely operated from October 20 and October 31, the unique flights connected Tel Aviv to Bangkok and Tel Aviv to the United Arab Emirates’ Fujairah.

Apart from facilitating the return of Thai nationals, SpiceJet carried out many flights as part of “Operation Ajay,” which successfully returned Indian people from Israel. The airline has demonstrated its proactive involvement in dire circumstances by playing a pivotal role in the evacuation of Indians from Ukraine under “Operation Ganga” and from Sudan under “Operation Kaveri.”
