Mumbai Police Arrested Main Suspect in Saif Ali Khan’s Stabbing Case

The primary suspect in the attack on Saif Ali Khan, who was stabbed six times early Thursday morning at his residence, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police, according to TV reports.

After an extensive search involving several police teams across Mumbai and surrounding areas, the main suspect has been arrested and is being brought to the Bandra police station for further questioning.

The accused reportedly used the fire escape staircase to break into Saif Ali Khan’s 11th-floor residence in Bandra in the early hours of January 16. Investigations revealed that he was spotted near Bandra Railway Station following the attack.

After the attack on Saif Ali Khan, authorities launched a search to apprehend the assailant. Investigations revealed he was last seen near Bandra Railway Station and is suspected to have boarded a train to Vasai.

Mumbai Police have formed multiple teams to track the suspect, focusing on areas like Vasai, Nalasopara, and Virar. They analyze CCTV footage and gather intelligence.

The police have also recovered part of the knife blade removed from Saif’sSaif’s back during surgery, and efforts continue to find the remaining piece for further evidence.

On the night of January 16, 2025, Saif Ali Khan became the victim of an attack when an intruder broke into his Bandra home with the intent to steal. The intruder hid in Saif’s son Jeh ‘sJeh’s room. Upon hearing a disturbance between the attacker and one of his staff, Saif went to check and confronted the intruder. During the confrontation, Saif was stabbed six times with a sharp object.

He was quickly rushed to the hospital, where doctors successfully removed a 2.5-inch knife from his spine. Thankfully, Saif is now stable and out of danger. Once his condition improves further, he will be moved from the ICU to a regular room. Authorities are investigating the attack, and Saif is expected to state once he has recovered.
