In 2003, Namit Bajoria established Kutchina Home Makers to become a one-stop shop for kitchen options. At the moment, it can be specializing in ‘make in India’ and it has created Rs three hundred crore in earnings.

Hailing from a typical Marwari family members, Namit Bajoria at an age of 49, was encouraged to start his own venture. In the course of his third year of graduation, he started out using tiny measures to  build his entrepreneurial journey.

At the age of 23, in 1994, Namit borrowed Rs 1.30 lakh from his father to start a fax device company. But, over the years, Namit took bold methods, pivoted according to shifting traits, and adopted customer desire to produce a a person-quit shop for all kitchen desires.

In 2003, Namit started Kutchina House Makers Pvt Ltd — now a Rs 300 crore corporation — with no exterior funding. Also to strengthen the ‘Produced in India’ transfer, Namit is shifting the organization with import product to community producing.

According to Namit, the brand faces two major difficulties — obtaining brand recognition and employing the correct talent.

He explains, “Primarily based out of Kolkata, we encounter a struggle of being recognised to be a countrywide model. People typically miscalculate us being a region-focused manufacturer. Next, we faced problems in finding the ideal expertise as we aren’t in Delhi, Mumbai, or Bengaluru- favored location for every applicant.”

Namit has now opened up remote working solutions to guarantee that the business don’t pass out on any fantastic talent. He’s optimistic about spreading his wings to reach the nooks and corners of one’s place, which would give Kutchina Home Makers worldwide recognition.

He has plans to open up retail stores throughout India, and is aiming for initial public offering (IPO) for Kutchina Houses in the next few years.

At present, about 70 percent of Kutchina Houses’ simpler appliances are created in India through outsourced brands, although the RO and total modular kitchen area set up are made at the brand’s Kolkata facility.

Namit states the manufacturers are now importing more substantial appliances, but will manufacture these products in India soon after it sets up a further facility in Kolkata. It competes With all the likes of Bajaj from the small appliances class, and Kent and Eureka Forbes in RO.
