Naveen Blames Virat Kohli

The Afghanistan cricketer Naveen-ul-Haq became very famous in India after he had a brawl with the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in the IPL match which was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants. After the match got over, LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli also had an ugly spat and things got so heated up that other players had to intervene and separate them.

Some time back, Gautam Gambhir opened up on this matter and stated that he supported Naveen because he was correct and now Naveen-ul-Haq has also reacted on this matter.

In an interview, Naveen stated, “He shouldn’t have said all those things during the match and after it. I didn’t start the fight. After the match, when we were shaking hands, Virat Kohli started the fight. When you will look at the fines, you will understand, who started the fight.”

While Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli were fined 100 percent of their match fees, Naveen was fined 50 percent of his match fees.

He further added, “I just want to say one thing I generally don’t sledge anyone, and even if I do it I would say it to the batters only when I am bowling because I am a bowler. In that match, I didn’t utter a single word. I didn’t sledge anyone. Players, who were there they know how I dealt with the situation. I never lost my temper, when I was batting or after the match. What I did after the match is can be seen by everyone. I was just shaking hands and then he (Virat Kohli) caught my hand forcefully and I am also human being and I reacted.”

Well, we are waiting for Virat Kohli to speak on this matter now.
