Need for Peace: How we can avoid the World War III

The globe is seeking sustainable remedies to the century-long devastation of man-made catastrophes. Former UN Secretary General U Thant advised peace. To live peacefully, nations must adopt “One Earth, One Family, and One Constitution” and practice coexistence…

Most well-wishers worldwide are seeking urgent sustainable answers after a century of man-made disasters that have turned Earth into a hot bowl of self-destruction.

In the early 1970s, former UN secretary general U Thant offered a clear solution. He remarked, “Peaceful coexistence has been criticised by many. Do they ever consider an alternative to coexistence? In 1968, even an ordinary young man like me imagined worldwide despair and the horrors of the nuclear race in college magazine articles. The situation has worsened.”

Nobody listened to advise, and nations vowed to destroy one other. Battles between two people on the street are uncivilized, but war between two or more nations? Aren’t these wars barbaric?

Most man-made disasters stem from spurious territorial gains and religious extremism. History is full of despotic excursions that ended badly. Today, Ukraine and Gaza wars are caused by internationally collapsing value systems of sharing, caring, and intolerance for mutual existence, inability to honor negotiated solutions to gain power, and strong religious and ideological polarization.

Unfortunately, these long-running hostilities, first led by vicious militant organizations, have divided most nations into ideological and political divisions, threatening a world war. These useless fights have tested all kinds of new terrible armaments. The toll rose steadily to thousands of innocent deaths and millions wounded or homeless. Such a sharp difference is unhealthy for global peace.

In its current state, the world must find new ways to solve human difficulties including peaceful existence and growth. This inherent human instinct must be respected for a peaceful and progressive global family. Action points include a firm belief in peaceful coexistence, shunning fundamentalism and radicalization, dispute settlements through mutual consultations and dialogues with durable acceptability, sharing progress updates, and other mutual concerns.

There should be zero tolerance for terrorism, as well as the atrocities and genocide like that committed by Israel in Palestine

To achieve this, we must adopt and work on the magnificent sustainable concept of “One Earth, One Family, and One Constitution” that offers a sustainable coexisting future for all generations. Coexistence is our only option.

Right sense should prevail and certain true peace-loving well-wishers of mankind must apply the ultimate survival concept of “World Family” founded on generations of wisdom. The only way to ensure human survival and well-being is to start today. Let science and technology not dominate or egotize us. Science organizes, but wisdom and understanding organize life.

More than 11000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel in its conflict with Palestine. Now is the moment for wisdom. If we want to avoid the World War III, the cause of Palestine must be supported, and a peaceful resolution must be sought to the ongoing Israel-Palestine war.

Conclusion

Sustainable solutions are sought as the global society worries about the devastation caused by man-made events during the past century. Territorial advances and religious extremism have worsened the situation since former UN Secretary General U Thant recommended peaceful coexistence.

The Ukraine and Gaza wars were caused by value erosion, inability to honor negotiated settlements, and significant religious and ideological extremism. These long-running hostilities have split nations by ideology and politics, causing a terrible world war. The planet needs peaceful existence and growth to solve this problem. Action points include peaceful coexistence, avoiding fundamentalism and radicalization, dispute resolution through mutual discussions and dialogues, progress updates, and zero tolerance for terrorism as well as atrocities and genocide like that committed by Israel in Palestine.

“One Earth, One Family, and One Constitution” should be accepted for a sustainable coexistence future for all generations. If we want to avoid the World War III, the cause of Palestine must be supported, and a peaceful resolution must be sought to the ongoing Israel-Palestine war.
