Netizens respond to Heather Knight’s query on removing the colours of Holi

Heather Knight, an English cricketer, has asked Twitter for help in removing Holi colour from her blonde hair. Heather Knight, England’s captain, is in India to compete in the Women’s Premier League.

Several people are asking how to wipe the colour off their skin or hair after Holi fever seized India on Wednesday and all those enjoying the event were engulfed in colours. Heather Knight, captain of the England women’s cricket team, is among them.

Knight, 32, who is in India for the Women’s Premier League, spent Holi with her Royal Challengers Bangalore colleagues. She used Twitter to share images of herself with Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh, among others.

Then, like many others, she asked her followers if anybody could assist her in getting “pink Holi powder out of blonde hair?”

Her tweet earned over 23,000 likes and several reactions from netizens. Her international teammate Kate Cross had a very obvious remedy for Knight as she encouraged her to “shave it”.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore were defeated by the Gujarat Giants by 11 runs on Wednesday at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium. Their next game will be against the UP Warriorz on Friday.
