Sanjay Dutt, an actor, knocked off rumours that he might enter politics. In a post that he posted on X, he said that he had no intentions to run for office or join any political party. He made it clear that he would announce his intention to enter politics himself.
The actor issued a statement on X that ended all rumours.
“I want to dispel all the speculations that I’m going into politics. I’m not running for office or joining any parties. I will be the first to declare my intention to enter politics, should I decide to do so. Kindly do not believe the rumours that are now circulating in the media about me (sic),” he stated.
The 64-year-old actor was rumoured to be a candidate for the Congress from Karnal, Haryana, in the next Lok Sabha elections. It is the political heritage of Sanjay Dutt’s family, which includes his father serving in the Manmohan Singh government led by the Congress and his sister Priya Dutt being an MP.
Regarding his career, Sanjay is supposed to star with Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, and Akshay Kumar in “Hera Pheri 3.” In his cat, he also has the phrase “Welcome to the Jungle.” Along with Paresh Rawal, Krushna Abhishek, Arshad Warsi, Daler Mehendi, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others in important parts.
