OpenAI to host ChatGPT’s first-ever developer conference; Check out the date

OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, will have its first-ever developer conference on November 6. The day-long OpenAI DevDay will include a keynote lecture and breakout sessions hosted by OpenAI’s technical expertise.

This conference will bring together hundreds of developers from across the world to preview new tools and brainstorm with the OpenAI team. OpenAI has been adding cutting-edge models to its API since 2020, making it easier for developers to integrate powerful AI capabilities into their applications with a single API request.

Over 2 million developers use models like GPT-4, GPT-3.5, DALL·E, and Whisper for various applications, including integration of intelligent assistants into software and creation of previously unimaginable services.

“We’re looking forward to showing our latest work to enable developers to build new things,” said OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

However, GPT-5, OpenAI’s projected successor to its flagship generative AI model, is unlikely to be shown at this presentation.

The firm appears to be on track for profitability and may earn $1 billion in revenue next year.

OpenAI, now owned by Microsoft, has also launched ChatGPT Enterprise, an AI-powered chatbot tool for businesses. Enterprise-grade versions will have improved security, unrestricted access to higher-speed GPT-4, expanded context windows for longer inputs, sophisticated data analysis, customization possibilities, and other features for commercial applications.
