Adil Thokar and Asif Shaikh, two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists involved in the recent Pahalgam attack had their homes destroyed in separate explosions in Anantnag and Awantipora on Thursday night.
According to reports, security forces were conducting searches at the residences of the two militants when explosives stored inside suddenly detonated, resulting in the complete destruction of both houses.
Adil Thokar, who had received terrorist training in Pakistan, reportedly returned to Jammu and Kashmir secretly last year. He had legally crossed the Attari-Wagah border in 2018. Intelligence sources say Thokar acted as a guide and logistics coordinator for Pakistani terrorists involved in the recent attack.

The Anantnag Police have announced a reward of ₹20 lakh for any information leading to the arrest of three LeT terrorists—Adil Hussain Thokar, Ali Bhai, and Hashim Musa. These three are believed to be the masterminds behind the deadly April 22 attack in Baisaran, Pahalgam.
Security agencies revealed that the terrorists used code names—Moosa, Yunus, and Asif—during the operation to hide their identities. The attack claimed the lives of 26 people, most of them tourists, making it the deadliest incident since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.
The massacre took place around 1:30 p.m. at Baisaran Meadow, a scenic tourist spot about 7 kilometers from Pahalgam. Eyewitnesses reported that six foreign terrorists, dressed in Army uniforms, targeted victims based on their religious identity. The attackers allegedly asked them to reveal their names and recite religious verses before killing them at close range.
Despite heavy security in the area—including multiple checkpoints and armed patrols—the terrorists managed to breach the cordon and execute the horrific act at one of Kashmir’s most peaceful and picturesque destinations, known for its snow-capped peaks and pine forests.
