Pak Actor Accuses Shah Rukh Of Copying His Work In Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Slams KJo

Karan Johar directed Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna is one of the most successful movies of Bollywood, it released in 2006 and starred Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta in important roles.

The movie is currently making headlines because a famous Pakistani senior actor Tauqeer Nasir who has alleged that Shah Rukh’s work in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna has been copied from his work in Pakistani drama “Parwaaz” which was written by famous Pakistani author, Mustansar Hussain Tarar.

During an interview on a YouTube channel, Tauqeer Nasir said, “Shah Rukh Khan is a talented actor. But it’s disappointing to see the lack of recognition for my contribution from his side.”

Tauqeer Nasir also slammed Karan Johar for not giving due credit to him and Mustansar Hussain Tarar. He said, “Even the detail of an injured leg, depicted in the film, was borrowed from my portrayal in the drama.”

He further said, “‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ was essentially based on the story of Parwaaz, written by the renowned author Mustansar Hussain Tarar. Shah Rukh Khan should have given due credit for his inspiration.”
