The Pakistan cricket fans and cricket fraternity is quite hurt, angry and shocked after their team lost a match against Afghanistan in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Till now, Pakistan has played 5 matches and they have lost 3 matches out of those 5 matches.
The first match that Pakistan lost was against India and then they lost a match against Australia but defeat against Afghanistan is difficult for Pakistani fans to bear as it is the first time that Pakistan has lost a match to Afghanistan in the ODI format.
Now Pakistan has to win all the four matches if they want to keep their chances of playing the semi-final alive but it won’t be easy as out of these four matches, three are against strong teams (South Africa, New Zealand and England) and one match is against Bangladesh.
Many former Pakistani cricketers have slammed Babar Azam led team but Kamran Akmal has gone one step ahead and said that if they want development and improvement in Pakistan cricket, then the Pakistani cricket team should lose all the four matches because if they get back into form, then things will remain the same. When the anchor interrupted Kamran Akmal that he can’t see Pakistan losing matches, Kamran said that it is not about losing matches, it is about diminishing their egos.
