The IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad is sitting at the third position in the points table with 5 wins in 8 matches but SRH was not able to continue with its winning streak as it lost yesterday’s match which it played against RCB.
It was RCB’s second win of the season as it put up a total of 206/7 after batting first and then it managed to restrict SRH at 171/8 and won the match by 35 runs.
Despite losing yesterday’s match, the SRH skipper Pat Cummins is quite determined that they will continue with their aggressive approach. Talking about the match, he said, “It was not an ideal night. We went a few runs over par with the ball and unfortunately lost a few wickets throughout our innings. We were gonna bat first, it seems to be working for us. Before the last few wins, we were thinking that we were a bowl-first team. But, it did not go our way.”
Pat Cummins said that they are not going to think much about the loss, he said, “The boys have been going really well, it’s T20 cricket, you are not going to win every game. Don’t dwell on this too much.”
Talking about their aggressive approach, he said, “I think it’s our strong suit. It’s not going to work every game. In one or two games where it hasn’t gone our way at the start, we still managed to get a good total. Still think this is the way forward for our boys.”
