However, despite her accomplishments, she often finds herself being recognized solely in relation to her husband, actor Rajkummar Rao—a perception that she finds deeply disheartening.
In a candid interview, Patralekhaa Says “I Feel Very Small” When People Call Her Rajkummar Rao’s Wife didn’t hold back her feelings about the constant labeling. “I really hate it, just to be called Rajkummar Rao’s wife. I detest it, and I feel very small. Kyunki mera ek naam hai… mera ek astitva hai,” she said, highlighting the emotional toll of having her personal identity reduced to a title.
Though she takes pride in Rajkummar’s success, Patralekhaa emphasized that her own efforts and achievements deserve equal acknowledgment. She expressed concern that her marital status often causes people to overlook her professional journey and individuality. Addressing assumptions that her relationship made her path in the industry easier, she stated that carving out her own place continues to be a challenge.
Calling for more mindful representation, Patralekhaa urged the media to refrain from referring to her simply as Rajkummar Rao’s wife, asserting that she has her own name, career, and identity that should not be eclipsed.
