Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader K. Pawan Kalyan’s planned trip to Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, has been canceled. Pawan Kalyan son Mark Shankar was injured in a reported fire at his school thus, he will instead be traveling to Singapore to be with him.

According to a district government release, Mark Shankar was injured in the event, suffering from smoke inhalation as well as injury to his hands and legs.

However, Mr. Pawan Kalyan has decided to visit Kuridi village in Dumbriguda mandal and interact with the residents. As previously planned, he will also launch several rural development projects during his visit. According to sources, Mr. Kalyan assured the hamlet’s indigenous residents that he would come to their village on Monday, April 7. He’s already on his way to the town.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan will go straight to Vizag Airport and depart for Singapore after finishing the program in Kuridi. Per the program, he is scheduled to attend an Eco-Tourism meeting in Visakhapatnam’s Indira Gandhi Zoological Park (IGZP).

It should be mentioned that on Monday, April 7, Pawan Kalyan launched the “Adavi Thalli Bata” initiative in the ASR district’s Dumbriguda mandal. Up to 167 indigenous hamlets will have road access as part of the scheme.

Mark Shankar, who was born on October 10, 2017, is currently eight years old and studying in Singapore.
