The Australian cricket team is currently dominating in the WTC final against India as the Aussies have posted a huge total of 469 on the scoreboard and they have also dismissed 5 Indian batters at the meager score of 151 by the end of the day 2.
Steve Smith (121 runs) and Travis Head (163 runs) played brilliant knocks for their team and ripped apart the Indian bowling which consisted of four pacers and one spinner. However, the Indian squad had a pretty bad start as both the openers, skipper Rohit Sharma (15 runs) and Shubman Gill (13 runs) got out early. A lot was expected from Virat Kohli who is considered as the best Indian test batter but he also got out on the low score of 14 and the same thing happened with the veteran Indian cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara who was in sensational form while playing in English county cricket for the last 2 months.
The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja showed some resistance against the English bowlers but he also got dismissed at the score of 48 runs. By the end of the day 2, Ajinkya Rahane (29*) and Srikar Bharat (5*) were at the crease and now a lot depends on these two.
Virat Kohli has come under heavy criticism from cricket fans, not just for losing his wicket early but also because of a photo in which he is seen having a meal while Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill are seen with him in a cheerful mood.
Here is the photo which was posted a Twitter user with the caption,
“Imagine if this was Rohit
Kohli fans would’ve run riot
Editing & posting mocking
Now where’re they
Nb: I don’t find anything wrong in what Kohli doing but just checking where the Kohli fans are who used to say Rohit gets out early to eat”
This pic did not go well with the majority of the cricket lovers as they expected some more sincerity, focus and intensity from Virat Kohli who is considered as the greatest of all times by his fans.
