The recently released movie The Kerala Story is enjoying a great run at the box-office as it has earned Rs. 69 crore approx. in six days of its release and audiences are also praising the film a lot. Directed by Sudipta Sen and produced by Vipul Shah, the movie stars Adah Sharma in the lead role of Shalini Unnikrishnan and recently in an interview, she talked about the effect that the flick and the role had on her.
Adah was asked as to how she along with director, producer and the whole team countered the huge opposition that the movie got. She says that they have received huge support and the awareness that is being created by The Kerala Story will save many lives.
Talking about the effects that playing the role of Shalini Unnikrishnan had on her, she says that playing Shalini has scarred her both physically and emotionally and as her soul is also scarred, it won’t heal in this lifetime.
When the actress is asked as to how she will celebrate the biggest hit of her life, she says that her movie will change and save many lives and knowing that she has spoken for many people through her film gives her sense of accomplishment and that is her celebration.
