Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi showered praise on the Yogi Adityanath-led administration in Uttar Pradesh, claiming that the “double engine government” had transformed the state’s investment culture from one of “red tape to red carpet”.
“The UP double-engine government was established seven years ago. “A red carpet culture has been introduced here and the red tape culture in the state has ended in the last seven years,” he said during an investment summit in Lucknow.
During the inaugural event for investment proposals received at the UP Global Investors Summit 2023 in February of last year, Prime Minister Modi stated that Uttar Pradesh is getting investment in a variety of areas.
The prime minister also emphasised that throughout the previous seven years, business culture has grown and crime has decreased in the state. “During the past seven years, UP has developed a business-friendly, development-focused, and trustworthy environment. The dual-engine administration has demonstrated that no one can thwart genuine reform intentions.”
The BJP often promotes “double-engine government,” which entails the same party leading both the state and federal administrations.
Prime Minister Modi launched an assault on the Congress-led administrations of the past, saying, “When I talk about ‘Viksit Bharat,’ new thinking and new direction is needed for it.” This would not have been feasible if we had continued with the same line of thinking that dominated the nation for many years after independence.”
Addressing the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Prime Minister remarked that the vehicle that arrived in different districts of Uttar Pradesh with “Modi’s guarantee” has resulted in an abundance of government welfare projects. “Our purpose for coming together is to construct ‘Viksit Uttar Pradesh’ for ‘Viksit Bharat.'” I’ve been informed that this event is being experienced by thousands of people from over 400 Vidhan Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh thanks to technology. “Even seven or eight years ago, we could not have imagined that Uttar Pradesh would have such an environment for investment and jobs,” the governor stated.
