The veteran Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt is one of the most popular actresses of the 90s and she has given many hits as a leading actress but for quite some time now, she is not seen much on the big screen. However, the actress was last seen in the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss OTT2 and she was praised by not just fans but the host of the show, Salman Khan as well.
Pooja Bhatt had also been a part of some controversies during her career and one of them was created because of a photoshoot which she had with her father, Mahesh Bhatt. In that photoshoot, they both had a lip kiss which was not liked by many due to their father-daughter relation and Mahesh Bhatt had also stated in a media interaction that he would have married Pooja if she had not been her daughter.
Recently, Pooja Bhatt breaks silence on this matter and this is what she said on being asked whether she feels sorry for doing that photoshoot, “No, because I see it very simple, and I think that unfortunately jo hota hai, a frozen moment can be represented and misrepresented in anyway. Aur mujhe yaad hai Shah Rukh ne mujhe yeh kaha tha when you have daughters, jab hi aapke bacche chote hai, how often child just say, ‘Mummy papa give me a kiss’. And they go this way. Mai ab bhi is umer mein bhi wahi 10 pound ki bacchi hoon for my father. Vo jindagi bher wahi rahege for me.”
She further added, “So it was a moment that was absolutely innocent which was captured. Aur uske connotation jo hai, jinko padhna hai vo padhge, jinko dekhna hai vo dekhege. Aur mai is cheej ko defend karne nahi baithi. Agr log baap aur beti ke rishte ko alag najariye se dekh sakte hai toh vo kuch bhi kar skte hai. Fir hum baat karte hai family values ki. Bahut kamal ka joke hai.”
Mahesh Bhatt, the famous movie director has tied the knot twice, first with Kiran Bhatt with whom he has a daughter (Pooja Bhatt) and son (Rahul Bhatt) and after divorcing Kiran, he got married with Soni Razdan with whom he has two daughters (Shaheen and Alia).
