Responses from fans
The eagerly awaited revealing of the character’s identity was met with a warm reception from fans. “The vintage Baahubali is back!” an admirer wrote. Another said, “This is simply amazing!” “Few background things observed in future Kasi: 1. Futuristic vehicle (passenger vehicle? ), 2. Graffiti in Indian Streets, 3. Futuristic Traffic signal, 4. The Smart Beast came to save the world,” remarked a second admirer who had discovered further features in the poster. “Whoa, unexpected!,” someone said. What an amazing poster and appearance—possibly the finest Rebel star has had since Baahubali.
Directed by Nag Ashwin and supported by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2898 AD is a multilingual science fiction film based on mythology that takes place in the future. The film, which has an Indian premiere date of May 9, 2024, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in important parts. The film is now being filmed, and Prabhas and Disha recently travelled to Italy to record a song.
“The film starts with Mahabharat and ends in 2898 AD,” Nag had stated, discussing the movie at the Synapse 2024 event in Gurgaon. It covers a period of 6000 years. We attempted to make up worlds, picturing what they may like while maintaining their Indianness and avoiding a Blade Runner aesthetic. 3101 BCE, 6000 years behind 2898 AD, is thought to be the final time Krishna took on human form.
