Prabhas’ Salaar Beats Dunki, Pathaan, Jawan & Animal With Huge Figures On 1st Day

The year 2023 has been really good for the Indian film industry and it is going to end on a good note as well. Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part  1 – Ceasefire has become the biggest opener of the year as the movie has earned Rs. 95 crore on its first day of release.

With this, Salaar has surpassed the opening day earnings of Pathaan (Rs.57 crore), Jawan (Rs. 75 crore) and Animal (Rs. 63 crore). Salaar earned the majority part of its earnings from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana which is around Rs. 70 crore and it earned 12 crore from Karnataka and Rs. 5 crore from Kerala.

The movie has been directed by Prashanth Neel, bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur and it also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. Salaar has been awarded with “A” certificate from the censor board because of the good number of violence scenes that it has and its total run time is 2 hrs 55 min.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki which released a day before Salaar had earned Rs. 30 crore on its opening day and it is being said that the movie has earned Rs. 58 crore in 2 days.

Prabhas starrer Salaar will certainly break some more records, what do you say?
