Praveen Kumar Calls This Legendary Player The Best Skipper Of Team India

Praveen Kumar, the former Indian cricketer who played for the country from 2007-2012 recently gave an interview in which he opened up on various issues.

The former cricketer who used to play for Uttar Pradesh at domestic level made some startling revelations in the interview, for example he accepted that ball tampering was pretty common in his playing days but the Pakistani pacers used to get better reverse swing because they used to do a bit more of ball tampering.

Praveen Kumar also revealed that Lalit Modi, the former IPL commissioner threatened to end his career when he refused to play for Bangalore in the IPL because it was far away from his hometown, Meerut and he also didn’t like the food.

In the same interview, when the interviewer said to Praveen that he has played and seen many skippers but in his opinion, who the best skipper of all those was, without any hesitation, Praveen took the name  of MS Dhoni and said that there is no match to Mahi bhai.

He said, “Mahi Bhai Ka Koi Jawaab Nahi. He knew how to use a player and when to use them. He used to set the field and ask the bowler to bowl. And that’s what good captain is, who gives the ball to the bowler and only asks to bowl, then it is up to the bowler to understand what he has to bowl.”

Praveen Kumar added, “Yes, as bowler you can of course tell the captain, for instance, where should the slips be placed, a bit wider or not because only the bowler knows after pitching how much the ball could swing, but apart from that he knew how to set fields.”

There is certainly no match to MSD!!!!
