Bollywood actress and co-owner of the IPL team Punjab Kings, Preity Zinta made her fans go crazy with her beautiful looks during the IPL matches but her fans want to see more of her in movies and it seems that the actress has decided to make a comeback in the film industry.
She is currently shooting for Lahore 1947 which is being produced by Aamir Khan and stars Sunny Deol in the male lead. Recently, the actress gave an interview in which she talked about the 6-yr break that she took from acting. She said, “I didn’t want to do a film. I was focusing on business, I wanted to focus on my personal life. People forget that for women, as actors, your craft is important, you want a body of work, but you have a biological clock. I’ve never dated anyone in the industry. I’ve never dated an actor. So the logical thing was I also needed to have my own family. It’s great to play various lives, but you shouldn’t forget to live your life. So I wanted to have children. Business was also very exciting since it was something new. But mostly, I wanted to focus on my personal life. I really don’t want to be an accomplished actor and a lonely person.”
As far as Punjab Kings is concerned, it is one of those few teams which haven’t won an IPL trophy despite the fact that they have been playing since the inaugural edition of 2008. Punjab Kings ended the IPL 2024 at the ninth position as they were able to win only 5 out of 14 matches and Preity Zinta must be upset about it.
